Hi! I work to deliver community cultural development arts projects, meeting community needs and working with communities in a wide range of settings. I have worked to deliver workshops and participatory performance outcomes with a diverse range of people; from young people through to seniors. I am currently working to deliver a creative bushfire recovery project and arts inclusion programs in music, visual art and dance. I currently teach as part of Aus Dance Victoria's SUPERCHARGED (2022) primary school incursion program. Formerly, I worked with Regional Arts Victoria in a secondary school setting for their Creative Workers in Schools program (2021). I also present workshops at museums and have a number of workshops upcoming in both education and public programs upcoming at TarraWarra Museum of Art (June 2022).
I work as a lead artist, or principal artist, and as such I generally work with other contractors, artists, Local government, arts organisations and communities in dynamic collaborations. I am contracted to design and deliver arts projects, workshops, events and design other modes of engagement to bring communities together i.e. I recently worked to deliver a postal project to help with community connectivity during pandemic restrictions in Metropolitan Melbourne. I also work with youth and young adults to deliver programs designed to strengthen wellbeing and deepen social connections through creative conversations and art making processes. I also create body based performance artworks and work as a performer, dancer, choreographer, director, curator and art director. I make site-specific outdoor work as well as works for gallery and museum exhibitions, including performance art and static or participatory installations involving multi media; photography, video art, neon, sound design, larger installation build, sensor technology, costume etc. My local indigenous ancestors are Barapa Barapa people of southern New South Wales and northern Victoria. My non-indigenous ancestors are Georgian, Turkish, English and Italian. |
