WThe Funky Flashmob is a community dance project led by Gülsen Özer in collaboration with choreographer and hip hop instructor Etienne Khoo.
A diverse group of participants from ages 7 to 57, shone bright when after only 4 rehearsals they took their dancing to the streets in Belgrave, Upper Ferntree Gully and Sassafras in April 2016.
"Thanks again for the flashmob, I have felt so much more connected to this community by participating in these dance events. I am discovering a wealth of creative, passionate, artistic, positive and spiritual young people, strengthening my faith in humanity and the future. You are wonderful, keep dancing :)"
