Entrances and Exits is a new contemporary dance work in which dancers repeatedly enter, dwell within, and then exit the performance space. This work was created by Gülsen Özer and Dani-Ela Kayler as a site-specific outdoor performance for Circling the Brink at Telopea Gardens in Emerald for the PAVE Festival 2016.
The movement vocabulary was constructed through a process of abstracting and responding to the physiological impressions of the private garden site. Sounds heard whilst working in the garden were stylised to create the sound score.
